This is an excellent medium sized sluice box from Jobe. The 36 Yellow Jacket is 36 inches lond, 10 inches wide and weighs only 8lbs.
The sluice is made from aluminum with plated steel riffles. The riffles are specially designed to allow for excellent gold recovery in different water and gravel conditions. The top riffles are stram riffles, making it easier for the water to move the material. Below are Hungarian riffles which improve gold recovery when there is greater stream volume.
The sluice features a section of ribbed rubber matting to make it easier to spot all that gold! The riffle section also easily removes for fast and easy cleanup.
