These large glass vials are perfect for storing and showing off your big nuggets, gemstones or other finds, or just carrying salt, pepper, spices, beads or any other small bits and bobs. Heck, put whatever you want in 'em. Hunters often use them for deer musk or cougar repellant while fisherman might use them for dry flies, etc.

At 4 drams, these glass vials are much larger than their dimunitive cousins (see: small glass vials). They're about the size of my thumb and if you can fill one with gold, you'll be pretty dang pleased with yourself... Once filled though, just remember NOT to drop it on a rock or you'll be looking for gold you already found...again...

Generally speaking, it's not a great idea to put your gold in glass until you get home.
