This Lortone Model 3A, 3 lb capacity rock tumbler is perfect for the hobbiest getting into rock polishing. Turn rough stones into beautiful polished gems, clean old coins and jewelry or use it for cleaning black sands or amalgamation.
The powerful 110 volt motor is designed for continuous use and is fan-cooled for a long life. Lortone offers a 1 year limited warranty on their rock tumblers.
Basic instructions are included, but you'll need to pick up some grit and polishing compound, and may want to consider a copy of How to Tumble Polish Rocks into Gems which we will have in stock soon.
We carry pre-measured grit packs for the 3 lb tumblers that include one each of rough, medium, pre-polish and polish, as well as bulk grit packs that include 1 lb of each of the four mentioned grits, but we haven't got them on the site quite yet (working on it!). Please call if you would like to include grit or the tumbling book with your order.
